Flora Resident, Dies;
Final Rites Thursday
FLORA—Rites for Mrs. Eva G.
Brown, 51, who resided two miles
north of here, Will be at two
o'clock Thursday at the German
Baptist church. Elders John Brubaker
and Clem Skiles will officiate
and interment will be in Maple
Lawn cemetery. The Reverend
Lewis Deardorff will have a short
service at the home prior to the
funeral.
The body has been taken from
the Leiter funeral home to the
residence where friends may call.
Her death occurred Tuesday at
12:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's hos-
pital, Lafayette.
Born Feb. 19, 1902, in Roanoke,
Va., she was the daughter of Ammon
and Elizabeth Simmons Oyler.
Her marriage in September, 1921,
was to Joe C. Brown.
Survivors are the husband; a
daughter and two sons: Katherine
Hall, Deer Creek; Billy, in the
Armed Force, station at Corpus
Christi, Texas; Bobby Joe, at
home; her parents and four sisters:
Mrs. Lydia Flora, Kingsport,
Tenn.; Mrs. Ethel Scott, Tulsa,
Okla.; Mrs. Floretta Lenincnger,
Kingsport; Mrs. Hazel Fisher,
Flora.
