John S Groom married Mary Catherine Hadley Feb 1848 in Clay County, Mo. Mary either died or left him, possibly married someone else, not sure yet. He then married her sister Martha Ann Hadley Greenfield in 1866. The Hadley girl's parents were Samuel Hadley and Jane N Thompson. His children were all from the marriage with Mary C. Frances Groom (1852-1948) - married Richard Ricketts Myall in 1874.
Ruth M Groom (1855-1882) - Married Anthony S Brown in 1875
Walter T Groom (1861-1937) - married Estella M Wright in 1900
Jane "Jennie" L Groom (1862-1940) married Charles Mosby in 1881. These are the only children I am aware of at this time.

The Francis Groom attached to John S Groom born in 1871 is not his daughter and should come off this memorial.
Thanks
