MARY A. LAMB

Mary A., wife of Adelbert Lamb, died Tuesday morning, May 7, at her home, 81 Rankin street, aged 65 years, 3 months. Although a sufferer for several years her condition was not critical until about two months ago when new complications appeared. She bore her great suffering with much fortitude, willing to wait the Master's call. She was of a most kindly disposition, sacrificing self for others, ever faitful to every household duty as wife and mother. All who knew her were her friends. There are to mourn her departure a husband and four children - Mrs. Sidney Benner, A.B. Lamb, S.E. Lamb, and Hattie Lamb, all of this city; also a step-mother (sic - should be mother-in-law), Mrs. Benjamin Lamb, who has made her home with them for many years, and an aged mother, Mrs. Samuel Simmons, and three brothers, Miles, Robert and Fred, all of Warren; and one sister, Mrs. Isaac Upham of Rockport, besides several grandchildren and a wide circle of relatives and friends. The abundance of flowers was a silent token of the great love and esteem in which she was held by relatives and friends. Willing hands of those most near and dear to her have administered to her needs. She was laid at rest in the Achorn cemetery Thursday afternoon May 10, after words of comfort from Rev. Gilbert Edgett.
