He worked as a night clerk at the St. Nicholas Hotel and also as a realtor. He suffered a heart attack.
His wife survives; three sons, Dr. George E.Armbruster of Huntington Park, Calif.; Dr. F. Eugene Armbruster of Denver, Colo. and Donald of California, Md.; two brothers, George and Arthur of Bloomington and a sister, Mrs. Helen Frawley of Decatur.
