Kate Virginia Bryant, 86, of Woodlawn, died March 28, 1998, in Blue Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Galax.
She was the wife of the late Joe Bryant.
She was born in Carroll County October 15, 1911, to Crockett and Julie Hall Horton.
She is survived by a daughter, Reva Bullion of Woodlawn; a son and daughter-in-law, Belford and Loretta Bryant of Elk Creek; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was March 31 in Hebron Church of Christ conducted by the Rev. Fred Jennings and Sammy Burnett.
Burial was in the Joe Bryant Cemetery.
