James M. Timblin, one of Northern Indiana County's best known and respected residents, died Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, following an illness with cancer of the stomach. Mr. Timblin, who was 79 years of age, had resided in Canoe Township, a short distance from Rossiter, nearly all of his lifetime, and is survived by two sons and two daughters. His wife preceded him in death about six years ago. Funeral services will be held in the Union Church near Rossiter Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be made in the Union Cemetery.
