Obituary. William P. Davis. Price- William Preston Davis, 74, died Wednesday morning at Carbonville of causes incident to age. His home was at Salem, but he was visiting a niece, Mrs. J.A. Tipton, at the time of his death. Mr. Davis was born August 14, 1861, at Springville, and was the son of George P. and Sarah Elizabeth Louis Davis. He was unmarried and his survivors are the following brothers and sisters: John A. Davis, Orson Davis and Mrs. Bertha Evans of Salem and Mrs. Eliza Morrot of Mt. Pleasant.
