SULLIVAN — SULLIVAN — Loretta F. Bond, 77, of Sullivan, passed away at 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Miller's Merry Manor. She was born in Sullivan, on Aug. 31, 1933, the daughter of Harold Dillingham and Nora Marie Lowe Dillingham.
She was a member of Sullivan Elks Lodge 911, and Moose Lodge 2517.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Gene Bond, Lowden Correll, Junior Daugherty, and Delbert Wayne Darkis; three brothers, Wayne Dillingham, Sam Dillingham, and Clarence Junior Dillingham; two sisters, Winnie Daugherty, and Deloris Lawrence.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Courter (Steve) of Sullivan, Rhonda Cecil (Charles) of Memphis, Tenn., and Louise Deal of Terre Haute; one son, Delbert A. Darkis (Mary) of Brazil; two stepsons, Larry Bond (Judy), and Bill Bond, all of Sullivan; one stepdaughter, Andrea Connell (Tom) of Estero, Fla.; one brother, Paul Dillingham (Irene) of Terre Haute; one sister, Martha Rickard of Terre Haute; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Banks and Brust Funeral Home, 400 N. Court St., with Pastor Paul Mc Glasson officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
