Two Victuims of Road Blast Will Be Buried Here
The body of John Simmons, 27, which was found some 600 feet from the cliff in the North St Vrain Canon, the scene of the dynamite blast, was brought to Longmont shortly before midnight. The deceased was born at Sugar City, Colorado, April 8, 1908, and had lived in Longmont three years, coming here from Greeley. Mr Simmons is survived by his mother Mrs. Philipp Wagner, of this city, who was prostrated upon receiving news of her son's death. He was the last son left out of a family of nine children, all of whom have died of sickness or tragedy. Funeral services will be held at the Prohs Funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
