Edith M. (Anderson) Chambers, 92, of Plymouth, formerly of Carver, died Oct. 30. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Chambers; loving mother of Paula Mulrey of Plymouth and Pamela Farrar and her husband George of Plymouth; cherished grandmother of David, Kimberly, Tiffany; and great-grandmother of Dalyn and Nora. Edith was a member and former organist at the United Parish in Carver. She was a member of the Eastern Star and past Mother Advisor of Rainbow Assembly in Hanover. She was also past Worthy Matron of the Swedish Lodge. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Carver, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 12:30. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
