Miss Thana Eiden, Ted Mathison Wed
The marriage of Miss Thana Eiden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden and Mr. Ted Mathison, son of Mrs. Anna Mathison, both of Estherville, took place Saturday evening at 9:30 o'clock in the Presbyterian study. The Rev. Claude Fausnaugh officiated at the single ring ceremony.

Miss Eiden was attired in a teal blue silk suit with brown accessories and the groom wore an oxford grey suit. Mrs. R.N. Rousseau and Mrs. Frank Eiden were witnesses.

Mrs. Mathison is employed at Norma's Beauty Salon and Mr. Mathison is in the painting and decorating business.

Mrs. Theodore Mathison Dies; Rites Friday
Mrs. Theodore Mathison, 41, died Wednesday night at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden, after a lingering illness of several months.

Thena Fay Eiden was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Estherville. She grew to young girlhood here and attended the Estherville grade and high schools. On Aug. 5, 1935, she was married to Theodore Mathison. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Those who survive are her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sternborg chapel and 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. J.M. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 20, 1945)
