Jack Samuel Bell
Jack Samuel Bell, 66, of 1256 W. 2550 S., died Wednesday, Aug 29, 1984, at McKay-Dee Hospital of a heart attack. He was born Dec 8, 1917, in Ogden, a son of John and Ruth E. Bell Rackham. He married Doris Judkins Rizzi March 5, 1950, in Brigham City. He was a life- long resident of the Ogden area. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in Italy and Alaska. He had been an expeditor-ware-houseman with Defense Depot Ogden, retiring in 1972 after 35 years of service. Surviving are his widow of Odeon, one son and one daughters, Ray Rizzi, Riverdale; Mrs. Eldon (Marcella) Marshal, Salt Lake City, Six grandchildren; and six great - grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Harold J. Bell, Roy and Mrs Carl E. (Margaret) Sawyer, Ogden. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden, with Bishop Don Clark of the West Ogden 16th Ward officiating. Friends may call the mortuary officiating from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Warren Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion color Guard.
