Allen R. Arneson, age 64, of Milwaukee and formerly of Mondovi died Monday, May 12, 2003, at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on March 10, 1939, in Mondovi, the sone of Sever and Hilda (Weiss) Arneson. Allen was a graduate of Mondovi High School. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Louie Allis Co. in Milwaukee for 30 years. Allen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Canton township where he had been baptized and confirmed.
He is survived by two brothers, Roger of Mondovi and Keith of Milwaukee; one niece, Lisa (Paul) Wayne of Durand; one nephew Jeff (Tammy) Arneson of Mondovi; great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law Rena Arneson.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2003, at Poeschel Funeral Home in Mondovi with Rev. Daniel Pfaffe officiating. Private burial will be held on Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Canton.
