Hal Carrick, 81, retired Seneca County farmer, died in the home of his son, Lloyd Carrick, on Route 1, Tiffin. He had been in failing health since August with a heart condition. He was born in Wyandot County May 1, 1869 to George Carrick and Ann (Berry) Carrick. He was married to the former Eva Biller and her death occurred in January 1940. Surviving are two sons, Lloyd of Tiffin and Robert of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Ruse, Tiffin and Mrs. Minnie Funkhouser, Old Fort; four brothers, Guy Carrick, Tiffin, Brett Carrick, McCutchenville, Tom Carrick, Bloomville and the Rev. Don Carrick of Sunfield, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Letha Leister, Bloomville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A sister is deceased.
He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Tiffin.
