Mrs. Caroline Lamb, aged 57 years, wife of William Lamb, of Dalton, died Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock of cancer of the stomach from which she had suffered for a year. The funeral will be held at Nettle Creek church at Franklin, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. J. P. Dennis and Mahlon Chamness will officiate. The funeral of Mr. Allen, a brother of Mrs. Lamb, took place at New Castle today. Mrs. Lamb was a sister of Mr. Milton Lamb, whose wife died a few weeks ago at Franklin. She leaves her husband two sons and two daughters.
