Luther Page
Luther Page, 62, of 224 University Avenue, died at 1:05pm yesterday (July 16 1966) at the Good Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. He was a son of Mrs. Lizzie Maynard Page, Lexington, and the late Charles H. Page, and for over 26 years was employed in the maintenance department of the James E. Pepper Distillery. He retired in 1963. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Mrs. Sallie Mullins Page; five daughters, Mrs. Katherine Puckett, Mrs. Helen Johnson and Miss Della Ann Page, Lexington, and Mrs. Juanita Collins and Mrs. Shelby Jean Tripplett Dayton, Ohio; a son, Luther A. Page, Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sampson and Mrs. Rose Davis, Lexington; three brothers, Goldie Page and James Page, Lexington, and Henry Page, Texas, and nine grandchildren. The body was taken to the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home where friends may call after 4pm today (July 17 1966)

Services for Luther Page, 62, of 224 University Avenue, will be conducted at 2:30pm today at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by the Rev. Byron Jessup. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County. Bearers will be Tommy Preston, Joseph Horseman, Joe Carter, Ralph L. Duke Sr. and Lewis Rutherford.
