Jewell Faye Faught, 77, of New Braunfels, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels.
Jewell was born May 2, 1933 to Carlton R. Harris and Ollie Rawls Harris. Clyde Faught and Jewell were united in marriage on Sept. 26, 1950 in San Saba, Texas. Jewell was a manager at Jack Brown Dry Cleaning. Jewell was also a member of the Burnet Primitive Baptist Church.
Jewell is survived by her husband Clyde Faught of New Braunfels, her son Gary Faught and his wife Carolyn of San Antonio, her daughter Letitia Cooke of New Braunfels, her grandchildren Kristin Benitz and her husband Joe, Ashley Cooke, Justin Cooke, Nathan Cooke, Sherri Schoenert, and Stephen Schoenert, her great grandchildren Sarah Benitz, Colton Benitz, Ashley Benitz, her sister Marjorie Frizzell of Round Rock, and her nieces and nephews Donald Wayne Harris, Doug Harris, Cheryl Zombola, Randy Frizzell, Marty Frizzell, Ronnie Harris, Debbie Maultsby, Pam Benner, Richard Harris, Cindy Harris, Patti Malone, Carla Baron, Trey Harris, Craig Harris, Mike Harris, Rick Harris, Sheila Harris, Van Mund, Ronald Faught, Steve Faught, Debbie Shahan, Taylor King, Hal King, and Joyce Ann Flach.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ollie Harris, brothers Kenneth Harris, Zane Harris, Hazen Harris, Jack Harris and Don Harris, nieces Susan Faught and Missy Harris, nephews Kirk Harris, Charles Frizzell, and Larry Mund and son-in-law LCDR Barry T. Cooke.
Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba with Elder Hugh Montgomery officiating and Bro. Jimmy Shook assisting. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 3p.m. Interment will be at China Creek Cemetery.
