He married (1) Amanda Foster in Giles County, Tennessee. She died of an illness in their first year of marriage. No children

Married (2) Harriet Eliza Rutledge in Giles County, Tennessee. Harriett died March 21, 1880 in McLennon County, Texas.

(1) Helen Rutledge Eliza Wood Price born Jan. 26, 1867 in Giles County, Tennessee (1870 Giles Tenn. Census). All census records state that Helen was born in Tennessee except the 1920 census. It states that she was born in Texas. She died Aug., 16, 1946 in Pope County, Arkansas. Married John Franklin Price Nov. 13, 1884 in Pope County, Arkansas. Note: Some family history records written in Pope County state that Helen was born in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas but that is incorrect.
Helen and John Franklin Price are both buried in the Price Cemetery, Pope County

(2) Mary Elizabeth "Bessy" Wood Love born in 1869 - died in 1950. Married (1) Rufus Pleasant Love Feb. 2, 1887 in Pope County, Arkansas. Mary Elizabeth and Rufus Crain are buried in the Crain Cemetery, Pope County.

(3) Wager Wood Reed born Apr. 29, 1871 in Tennessee and died Jan. 14, 1934 in Pope County, Arkansas. Married Jesse Lawrence "J. L." Reed July 18, 1889 in Pope County.
Both are buried in the May Cemetery, Pope County.

(5) John Clarence Wood - Listed in the 1880 census born about 1876 in Texas. He is not listed in the 1900 census. He probably died before David K. Wood came to Pope County, Arkansas.

A FAG memorial states that she was born and died in Pope County, Arkansas.
David K. Wood married her in Texas and she died there before he moved to Pope County, Arkansas with his children. He married his fourth wife in Pope County but not his third wife. Her name and burial is not known but it is known that she died in Texas.

It is not known where Margaret Dixon Wood is buried but I do not believe that it was in the Crain Cemetery. There is no listing for her in the cemetery records and the cemetery has been abandoned for many years. She lived in other parts of Arkansas following David K. Wood's death. There is no proof that she is buried in the Crain Cemetery. I have walked (and canvassed) that complete cemetery.

(7) Ivy Myrtle Wood FAG 47297334 (married Oscar Adam Epperson) Both are buried in the Mulberry Cemetery, England, Lonoke County, Arkansas. Myrtle was born March 21, 1888 in Pope County, Arkansas. Died either November 15 or 20, 1971 probably in Lonoke County. There are two FAG memorials and they disagree on the death date.
Oscar was born February 18, 1883 in London, Pope County and died December 30, 1954 in England, Lonoke County, Arkansas.

Married Cora Lee Petray February 8, 1920 in Pope County, Arkansas. Both resided in London, Pope County at the time of marriage. License obtained February 2, 1920. Cora was age 17 and Charles was age 21. Charles lived with his half sister, Daisy White Wood Eggleston and her husband Shrigley Griffith Eggleston in the 1910 census. His father died January 1901. His mother must have died before 1910 because two children are living with sister Helen Eliza Rutledge Wood Price (John Franklin Price) & Charles with Daisy & Shrigley.
