DAVENPORT -- Services for Gloria Essler, Cookeville, Tenn., formerly of Davenport, will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, Cookeville. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Cookeville. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday at Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home, Cookeville. Mrs. Essler died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at her home.
Gloria Finch was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Davenport to Mrs. Mildred Fisher Finch of Davenport and the late Earl Finch.
She married Warren Essler.
Memorials may be made to Lazarus House Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband, Warren; daughters, Nancy Arnold, Springfield, Mo., and Betsy Lancaster, Reno, Nev.; a son, Steve, Algood, Tenn.; four grandchildren; her mother, Mildred Finch, Davenport; a sister, Judy Mayberry, Davenport; and a brother, Gary Finch, Davenport
