Shirley G. Barber, daughter of Harry and Gertrude Schmidt, was born April 5, 1924, in Hindsdale, Illinois, and departed this life November 27, 2002, in Lebanon, Missouri.

On June 30, 1951, Shirley was united in marriage with Howard Barber and to this union were born two sons and one daughter. Her husband preceded her in death July 29, 1963.

Several years ago, Shirley professed her faith in Jesus Christ.

She enjoyed spending time with her cats, reading, fishing, and especially meeting folks at Wal-Mart, where she was employed for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Kenny Barber and Bruce Barber and his wife, Roxie, and one daughter, Bonnie Little and her husband, Glenn, all of Lebanon; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harry.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
