Hilda Cline Morrison, 82, of Moneta, Va., died Friday, October 29, 2010, at Franklin Healthcare Center. Mrs. Morrison was born in Forsyth County, N.C. on July 18, 1928. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Fred S. Morrison; father, Grover S. Cline Sr.; dear mother, Eva C. Cline; a brother, Grover S. Cline Jr.; and two sisters, Juanita McGhee and Norma Rogers. She worked as a secretary for the Winston-Salem Southbound Railway and the Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line Railroad in Norfolk, Va., retiring in 1988. She is survived by a son, Ronald G. Cundiff and daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Cundiff, both of Moneta; two grandsons, David C. Cundiff, of Charlottesville, Kevin "Scott" Cundiff and wife, Amy M. Cundiff, of Roanoke, Va.; one greatgranddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Cundiff, also of Roanoke; one sister, Nancy Phelps, of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother, David Cline, of Kannapolis, N.C.; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted from Forsyth Memorial Park at noon on Tuesday November 2, 2010.
