Howard "Leo" Sims, 63, of Huntsville died Monday.
Leo had lived in Huntsville for the past 38 years, was a master carpenter and a member of the Madison Freewill Baptist Church, but attended The Rock Family Worship Center.
Leo was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Grayson Sims; daughter, Ramanda and husband Patrick Renfroe; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Beam, Cody McNary and Haley Renfroe; sister, Dorothy Bryson; brother, Calvin Sims; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at The Rock Family Worship Center followed by a 1 p.m. service. Pastor David Nelson, Pastor Travis Grayson, Pastor Eula Boyles, Pastor Richard Hendrix and Pastor Nell Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery with Berryhill Funeral Home assisting the family.
