Georgia A. Bowman, 84, of Laurel Fork, Va., passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Trinity Mission of Hillsville.
Mrs. Bowman was born in Carroll County to the late Noah and Alice Tobler Largen. In addition to her parents, Georgia was also preceded in death by a grandson, Sterling Bowman.
She is survived by her husband, Mason Bowman, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Danny Bowman, of Laurel Fork, Bonnie Nester, of Falls Church, and Mabel and Bill Tate, of Hillsville; four grandchildren and spouses, Steven and Tammy Bowman, Mark Nester, Kevin and Sherry Tate, and Keisha and Mike Dalton; and five greatgrandchildren, Daniel Bowman, Meagan Tate, Morgan Tate, Will Dalton, and Wyatt Dalton.
Funeral Services will be held at noon on Monday, November 1, 2010, at Vaughan-GuynnMcGrady Chapel with Pastor Neil Eidson and Elder Gleason Worrell officiating.
