Jeffrey Allen Bice, 46, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Richmond, died at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Jeff was born Dec. 17, 1963 in Richmond, the son of Junior Harvie and Dorothy (Love) Bice. He married Patty Vermillion of Kansas City, Mo., Feb. 14, 2002; she survives of the home.
Jeff was a union laborer. He was a 1982 graduate of Richmond High School. He was a member of Richmond Assembly of God Church. Jeff lived most of his life in Richmond prior to moving to Kansas City in 2001.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two stepdaughters, Deanna Litch and Tiffany Kipper, both of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Larry Bice, Raytown and Dennis Bice, Sedalia; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra Nolker and her husband, Kenneth, Richmond; five grandchildren, Drew Abbott, Zoey Barnhart, Tamia Eubanks, Demitri Barnhart and Amariana Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by one sister, Diana Callaway.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jeffrey Allen Bice memorial fund.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1, at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery near Lawson.
