DEATH OF M.J. WILSON
Mel J. Wilson died in St. Paul, Minn., Wednesday morning, May 20th. The older residents of Longmont will remember him in connection with the C.M. Brown drug store in Longmont in 1877. Mr. Wilson, then a boy of 16 years of age, was his assistant, and later a prescription clerk, for he was with the store until 1898, or twenty-one years. His home has been in Boulder a part of the time since then, where his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, still lives.
Mr. Wilson was in the employ of the Great Northern Railway Co. and had business for the company at St. Paul, and from thence had been ordered to Seattle, Wash. He was 52 years of age, and besides his mother leaves five sisters, Mrs. C.M. Brown of Longmont, Mrs. Agnes Morris, Mrs. Jessie Dwyer, and Mrs. Irving Keeler of Boulder, and Mrs. Minnie Warner of Denver; one brother, Rev. H. N. Wilson of St. Paul, who will accompany the remains to Longmont, arriving in Denver this Friday evening.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Masonic fraternity and a Knight Templar.
He was intered 22 May 1914.
