Philipp Wagner, 82-year-old retired Longmont farmer died at his home, 2 Fifth Ave, Wednesday afternoon following a long illness.

Mr Wagner was born in Russia March 12, 1858, and came to Kansas 50 years ago. He had lived in Longmont section 23 years farming east of town until his eyesight failed.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Philipp, Longmont; Henry, Garden City, Kansas; John, Wellington, and Dan, Windsor; five daughters, Mrs. Leah Wilhelm, Kansas; Mrs. Mary Wagner, Kansas; Mrs. Katherine Drieth, Longmont; Mrs. Susan Werner, Greeley; and Mrs. Mary Wagner, Kansas. A nephew, Philipp Wagner, lives here.

The deceased held membership in the German Congregational Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Probs Funeral Home, the Rev Roemmich officiating. Burial will be made in Mountain View Cemetery
