Mrs. Josephine Kettman, age 75, widow of Frank Kettman, died of complications Friday night at 7:05 in her home, 331 Hooven Ave. She had been ill six months.
Mrs. Kettman was born June 24, 1869, in Hamilton, the daughter of Henry and Klara Brinker Lagedrost. She attended St. Joseph Parochial School, and on May 11th, 1892, was married to Frank Kettman of St. Clair Township, in St. Joseph's Church. Mr. Kettman died June 17th, 1936. Three children also preceded Mrs. Kettman in death; Cornelia, Mary, and Arnold Kettman.
Mrs. Kettman was a devout Catholic, member of St. Ann Church, affiliated with the St. Ann's Married Lady Society and the Third Order of St. Francis.
She leaves five sons, Ralph Kettman, R.R. 2, Hamilton, Eugene, Charles, Clarence, and Clifford Kettman, all of Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Finan, and Miss Romilda Kettman, both of Hamilton; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Stuckenberg, Miss Rose Lagedrost, and Mrs. George Meyer, all of Hamilton; and six grand-children. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:00 in the home, 331 Hooven Ave., followed by a Requiem High Mass at 9:30 in St. Ann's Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence Sunday afternoon after 4 o'clock.
