T. J. Beard who resided Northeast of this City passed away yesterday evening. Was 52 years of age and has been a resident of Iowa for over 30 years.... Typical Iowa farmer and his farm eight miles northeast of the city shows it has been well managed. Has been ill past few months. Cause of death perhaps a complication of ailments such as heart and dropsical diseases. Born in Pa. and has lived in this state about 30 years. 52 years and three months old. Leaves wife, three daughters and one son, Eva, Nellie White, Gertrude and William. Funeral Sunday from residence at 2:00. Rev. J. P. Davis, pastor of U. P. church at Ainsworth... Interment Ainsworth cemetery.
