He was the son of Michael Carr and Susan McConnally.

He was the husband of Mary (Conway) Carr (1848-1928).

Domnick Carr, Former Monroe Co. Man Passes From Life's Labor to Eternal Rest

Tyrone, Iowa, April 22, 1908: Domnick Carr who for many years resided a short distance west of this place died last week in Spokane Washington and was buried in that city.

The deceased was a veteran of the civil war, having served through it in the 17th, Iowa Infantry. A few years after the close of the war he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Conway, a daughter of a well known and highly respected Monroe county family.

About twenty years ago they removed to Pacific Junction, Iowa where Mr. Carr was employed in the capacity of a policeman for the Burlington railroad. Later he removed to Omaha and thence to Spokane. He was 72 years of age. Surviving him, here, is Stephen Carr a brother.
