Michael Burcham, 62, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at home in Eau Claire.
Michael was born Dec. 4, 1952, in Milwaukee at Martha Washington Salvation Army to Emma Burcham.
Michael lived most of his life at the Northern Wisconsin Center until moving into an Aurora Adult Family Home on Nov. 15, 1995. Michael’s strength showed through in many ways and he survived many obstacles throughout his life.
Michael’s smile and chuckle endeared him to everyone who was lucky enough to have spent time with him.
Michael is survived by many friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of working with him and being part of his life.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls, with Pastor Toni Frerking, of Cadott officiating. Visitation will begin an hour before the service.
Interment will occur at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery, Eau Claire.
