Former Southold and Greenport resident Joyce W. Hulse died Dec. 15 in Sun City Center, Fla., after a long illness. She was 77.
She was born in Huntington Aug. 21, 1931, and raised in Southold.
She worked for the Board of Elections and had previously owned and operated Marge's Beauty Salon in Greenport.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Fred Hulse Jr. of Sun City Center; her children, Margaret Grumm of State College, Pa., and Fred III, of Greenport; her brother David Whipple, also of Sun City Center; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
