Once again the death angel visited our midst and took from us the beloved Mrs. Abbie Hicks, aged 88 years. She is survived by two sisters and nine children and several grandchildren.
Aunt Abbie as she was called, was loved by all who knew her. She joined the Baptist church at the early age of fourteen and lived a devoted Christian until death. Death came to claim her on April 16, caused by complication of diseases and her prayer was that God take her from her suffering, for she said she was ready and wanted to go.
She was continuously praying to God to take her out of her suffering for she would be better off there than here.
We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones and may they all prepare to meet her in a better world than this.
