EDITH BENGE
Edith L. Benge, 87 Neosho, died at 4:55 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at a Neosho nursing home following a long illness.
Mrs. Benge was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Pittsburg, Kan., and moved to Neosho area in 1932. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
She married Clifford Benge on Jan 30, 1932, in Neosho and he preceded her in death in 1990.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford John Benge, Joplin, Kenneth Benge, Webb City, and Richard Benge, Granby, two daughters, Anna Lumpkins, Neosho and Peggy Francisco, Lebanon, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson Cemetery.
