Cynthia Jean "Cindy" Crowder, age 55, Dayton, departed this life on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a 1973 graduate of Dunbar High School and attended Friendship Baptist Church and was an employee at Wright State University.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie K. Crowder Sr. in 1972.

She is survived by her unconditional and loving mother, Georgia Crowder; a loving daughter and favorite son-in-law, Renee McClearin of Atlanta, GA and Eric McClearin of Dayton, OH; (1) grandson, Tymothi McClearin (whom she fondly loved and always referred to as her "Pooter"); (2) beautiful granddaughters, Erica and Emauri McClearin of Atlanta, GA; (4) sisters, Diane, Karen (Joe) (her very, very best friend), Linda (Ernest) Gray and Liz Crowder of Atlanta, GA; (1) brother, Willie King Crowder Jr. (Jeanetta); nieces, and nephews, Shantae Williams, Latoya Ellison, Brandon Gray, Crystal Blake of Atlanta, GA, Brandy, Willie III, India, Jessica and Camyrn Crowder; father of daughter, Timmy Siler; her companion of 16 yrs., Thomas Ellison; a longtime friend, Arthur Hill and a host of great nieces & nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 1:00 P.M., SATURDAY, October 30, 2010 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Rev. George Parks, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Final disposition: Cremation.
