Ms. Worrell, a resident of Weir, was born in Choctaw County on December 23, 1943 and passed away at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson on April 2, 2010. For years, she was a clerk at the Choctaw County Tax Assessor's Office and a member of Fentress Baptist Church.
She is survived by one brother, Gladney Worrell and wife, Vera of Weir; one sister, Jimmie Sue Upchurch and husband, Vindex of Pearl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
