Ogden Standard- Examiner November 19, 1947, Ogden, Utah Charles E. Judkins WARREN -Charles Edward Judkins 62, of Warren, died at seven- thirty a,m. today at Ogden Union depot of a heart attack. He had reported seven for work and collapsed at Steven-thirty. Mr. Judkins was born Jan. 22 1885 in North Ogden, the son of Joshua B and Anna Berrett Judkins. He had resided in Warren for the past 55 years, engaged in farming. Five years ago he became employed by the O.U.R.D. Co. in the depot building. He was an elder in the L.D.S. Warren Ward and had been active in M.I.A. work. He was former health officer and register of Warren district. on Dec 15, 1905, he married Minnie East in the L.D.S. Temple. Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughters: Joseph B. Judkins and Clifford F. Judkins, Ogden; Irvin E. Judkins and C. Leo Judkins, Riverdale; Wendell L. Judkins and Mrs. Doris Rizzi, Warren: 13 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Richard Bryan Judkins, George Judkins and Mrs. Florence Hoffman, Ogden: William Judkins, Murray, Mrs. Ella East Warren; Mrs. Eunice Toomey, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Verna Montgomery, Los Angeles. Funeral plans are being made at the mortuary, 3408 Washington, Ogden.

Friends may call at the family home Warren Friday afternoon and evening, Saturday to twelve -thirty p.m. Interment in Warren cemetery directed by Lindquist and Sons. The names of a son and stepson. Reed B. Judkins and John Orton. Were inadvertent omitted from the obituary.
