Shortly after 8 o'clock last Saturday evening Charles Evans BECK died at the Legget House in this city. Age 40 years and 29 days. Consumption. Son of Wm. G. and Margaret BECK; born in New Liberty, Ky., Mar. 9, 1859. When but two or three years old his parents came to Fairfield, and the greater part of his life was passed in this city.... Brother of J.A. BECK and Mrs. Fannie WELDAY of this city, and David BECK of Butte, Mont. His parents also are still living and reside in this city. Bur. Evergreen

Although there are BECK burials in both, this Charles BECK's parents are buried in Old Fairfield City Cemetery (without gravestones); we do not have a record of this Charles being buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
