Mrs. Gertrude J. Heller, 70, R.2, Hilbert, died of exposure Sunday night at her home.
The former Gertrude Joas was born June 19, 1907, in Chippewa Falls, a daughter of Henry and Mary Braunaker Joas. Mrs. Heller resided in the Stockbridge area most of her life and was employed there at the Gerhartz Grocery Store.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Delmar (Ruth) Gerhartz, Stockbridge; three grandchildren; two brothers, Wallace, Chilton, Ambrose, Menasha, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Forestner, Menasha, and Mrs. Herman Leider, Birnamwood.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Stockbridge, the Rev. Jeff Nichols, officiating. Burial will be in the Portland Cemetery, town of Chilton.
