Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Harp, 63, Springfield, formerly of Jefferson CIty, will be a 1 p.m. Saturday in Ayre-Goodwin-Lee Chapel at Rivermonte with the Rev. Mike McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight in the funeral home. The casket will be closed at all times.
Mrs. Harp, a homemaker, passed away in her home Sept 1, 1990, following a short illness. She was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Springfield, the daughter of Roland C. and Cordelia Fox Lee. She was a graduate of Central High School. Dorothy loved sewing, quilting, arts and crafts, and working on the genealogy of her family tree. She was loved very much and will be missed. She is survived by two sons, Allen L. Harp, Hagerstown, Md. and Jeffrey L. Harp, Reseda, Calif.; four sisters, Opal Pickering, Springfield, Ruth Davis, Kansas City, Mo., Blanche DiGraci, St. Louis and Bette Scheinost, Raytown; a brother John Lee, Camdenton; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Arch Lee and Verd Lee.
