Funeral services for Roland C. Lee, 84, of Belton, a former resident of Springfield, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highlandville Cemetery. A retired Frisco Railway coach trimmer, Mr. Lee had moved to Belton from Springfield two years ago. He died at 1:30 p.m. Monday in a rest home there after a lingering illness. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church [Springfield, MO]. Surviving are three sons, Archie, 1837 North Newton, Verdie, Elwood, and John, Kansas City; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Pickering, 1111 West Atlantic, Mrs. Sam DiGraci, St. Louis, Mrs. Don Harp, Jefferson City, and Mrs. Glenn Davis, and Mrs. Floyd Scheinost, both of Kansas City; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. ROLAND C. LEE - Roland Columbus Lee, 84, of Belton, died yesterday at the home. He was born in Stone County, Missouri and lived in Springfield, Mo., until two years ago. Mr. Lee was a member of the Northwest Baptist church, Springfield. He had been a carpenter for the Frisco railway 28 years. Surviving are three sons, Archie Lee and Verdie Lee, both of Springfield and Joh Lee, 12301 East Sixty-seventh; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Pickering, Springfield; Mrs. Ruth Davis, 3715 East Sixty-first; Mrs. Blanche DiGraci, St. Louis; Mrs. Dorothy Harp, Jefferson City and Mrs. Betty Scheinost, 9406 East Eighty-first, Raytown, 20 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; Services will be in Springfield.
