Wanda L. Harvey, 84, of Greencastle died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at the Waters of Greencastle.
Born January 26, 1926 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle Head Alexander. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School. She married Paul E. Harvey on April 10, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1983.
Mrs. Harvey had been a homemaker and was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 1592.
She is survived by her children, Beverly O'Conner and husband Frank, Brenda Wood and husband Rex, Barbara Clark and husband Steve, and Paul Harvey Jr. and wife Dora, all of Greencastle; two sisters, Madeline Nauman of Fillmore and Judy Dreher and husband Russ of Muncie; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Waneta Mager and Betty Shuck; two brothers, Raymond and Bill Alexander; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Women of the Moose Memorial walk through at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
