A resident of Amite died at 10:40 am Monday October 24, 2016 at Riverside Medical Center. She enjoyed listening to her favorite gospel music and also had a very special doll collection. Josephine loved to sew and had made numerous clothes and quilts for her family. She liked to care for her many pet animals like her cats, dogs, goat, rabbit and bird.
She was preceded in death by her husband Prentiss Ford Thames, 2 sons Dale Thames, Larry Thames, a sister Helen Johnson and brother Eric Lee Rials.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday October 26th from 11 am until 1 pm. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday in the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery near Jayess, MS. Burial will follow.
