Mrs Lulu Oliphant, 74, a resident of Foxhome since 1916 died unexpectedly from a heart attack while visiting at the home of her niece, Evelyn Atkinson in Wichita KS.
She was born Feb 22, 1890, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gilman Nelson, In 1916 she married Earl Oliphant in Missouri. They moved to Foxhome the same year.
Surviving are five children, Lawson of Blaine, Mrs Maudie Bergquist and Mrs Arnold (Kathleen) Evenson all of Foxhome., and Garland of Fergus Falls; two brothers, Newt Nelson of Foxhome, and Rod Nelson of Nampa ID and a sister Bess Baker of Kansas City MO.
Mr Oliphant preceded his wife in death in July 1957.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls MN
