COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Eva Hood Anderson, 81, of Cookeville will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., Dec. 8, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be
in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Tues., Dec. 7; and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anderson died on Sat., Dec. 4, 2004, in NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1923, in Fentress County to the late William Pressie and Elise York Hood.

Mrs. Anderson and her husband owned and operated both the Southern Motel and Rivera Plaza Inn, until their retirement. She was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church.

Her family includes her husband of more than 61 years, Joe Anderson of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Peggy Anderson of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Biff Anderson and wife Deanna, and
Alison Anderson, all of Cookeville; two great-grandchildren,
Kyra and Cole Anderson; two brothers, Paul and Charles Hood, both of Jamestown; three sisters, Faye Jean Neal of Ten Mile, Johnnie Koger of
Jamestown, and Avo Stults of Muncie, Ind.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Hood; and two sisters, Geneva Owens and Willie Giguere.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Rev. Jon Bell will officiate at the services.
