Poet. Among his prolific works are: "Caminos interiores"(1942), "El horizonte recogido" (1949), "Entretiempo" (1970), "Escribo soledad" (1974), "Jazmín inacabado" (1986) and "Canción a tres voces" (1999). His ultimate prose book was the essay "Juan Ramón en su reino", which won the Juan Ramón Jiménez prize. Other awards received were the test of the Institute of Hispanic Culture, the poetry Santo Domingo de Silos, Fernán González and Cultural Action of the CSIC. In 2009 the Andalusian handed the gold medal of the community.
