Daniel Malcom

American Revolutionary. A "True Son of Liberty" Patriot Malcolm openly defied British rule and its revenue act. Buried as noted on his marker "...in a stone grave 10 feet deep...", his tombstone and that of his wife beside what were his earthly remains are chipped by British musketballs, including one solid hit in the left eye of the skulls on each of these markers. Legend has it that British soldiers would read his epitaph, spit on his grave and then fire at his marker for luck in battle.
