Chloe Anna Humphrey of Elkins, died July 25, 1955 at the Elkins Nursing Home where she had been ill for three years.
She was born November 14, 1885, at Timber Ridge, Pendleton Co., WV, a daughter of the late Abraham and Martha Fidela Harold Lantz. Her husband, the late Wayne Humphrey, died in 1944.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters as follows: Clyde T. and Harold W. of Valley Head, WV, Max L. and A. Neil Humphreys of Morgantown, WV; Edith Wimer of Richmond, VA, and Shirley Perkins of Weston, WV. There are 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services provided by F. E. Runner Funeral Home. Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Elkins, WV.
