Gladys B. Irvin, 94 Former Aldan Resident Gladys B. Irvin, 94. Formerly of Aldan, Delaware County. Died October 28, 2010 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton, PA. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Irvin, Sr. who died on June 22, 1989. Born on August 20, 1916 in Lancaster, PA, she was daughter of the late George and Clara (Bachman) Glick. She was a member of the Aldan Union Church, Aldan. In 1939 she graduated as a registered nurse from the Germantown Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at the Leader Nursing Center, Yeadon, PA for 12 years retiring in 1977. She was a US Army veteran of WWII serving as a flight nurse from 1943 to 1945. Survivors: Sons Jeffrey L. Irvin of California, MD, Harry J. Irvin, Jr. of Macungie; sister Grace (Glick) Dyer of Lancaster; granddaughter Aileen Hamsher and great-grandchildren Colin Hamsher, Kacey Hamsher and Haley Hamsher. Services: Graveside, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:30 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arr: Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Topton
