"WALTER RUDLOFF RITES TO BE SATURDAY
Funeral services for Walter Rudloff will be held Saturday afternoon, July 1st, at two o'clock from the Rauen Funeral Chapel. Mr. Rudloff died yesterday morning at the Nagel Hospital.
Mr. Rudloff ws born January 27, 1909, in Hollywood Township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rudloff. He had reached the age of 35 years 5 monthsand 1 day."

"WALTER ALBERT RUDLOFF RITES HELD SATURDAY
Walter Albert Rudloff, son of Paul Rudloff and nee Anna Goede, was born in Hollywood Jan. 27, 1909. He was baptized on Feb. 28, 1909 at the St. John's Lutheran church by Rev. Rolf.He attended the christian day school and was confirmed at the St. John's Lutheran Church on April 15, 1924, by the Rev. W. L. Ernst.He resided with his parents until August 12th, 1933, when he was united into holy wedlock with Evelyn Lobitz of Waconia. This union was blessed with two daughters, of which one died in infancy. He lived on his parent's farm for three years and then moved to Lake Auburn where he made his home for one year. He then moved to near Delano where he lived for one years, after which moved unto a farm near Watertown where he made his home for two years. He then moved unto the Diessner farm near Waconia where he lived until he met his death. He met his death when he was fatally shot by his wife early Wednesday morning, June 28, 1944. He died at the Nagel Hospital about five hours after the tragedy. His funeral services were held at the Rauen Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1 at two o'clock. The service was conducted by Rev. Milo A. Loppnow. His body was laid to rest at the Lakeview cemetery at Waconia. He attained the age of 35 years, 5 months and 1 day. Pallbearers were cousins of the deceased, namely, Harold, Norman and Wilard Goede, Leland and Alfred Goede and Melvin Rudloff.
He leaves to mourn one daughter Betty Jane, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rudloff, 1 brother Carl and four sisters, namely, Hilda (Mrs. August Noerenberg), Lorena (Mrs. Ruben Noerenberg), Viola (Mrs. Alvin Stender), Edna (Mrs. Norman Arnold), all of Hollywood Township.
An infant daughter and one brother preceded him in death."
