HELD SERVICES FOR T. I. WHISENAND, 85
T. I. Whisenand, 85, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Melville, Saturday, Sept. 1. He was born at Bloomington, Ind., Jan. 16, 1866.
Mr. Whisenand suffered a stroke June 7, from which he never recovered. In addition to Mrs. Melville, he is survived by a son, Frank, also of Chariton, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Brief services were held at the Miley Funeral home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Archie Beals officiated. The body, accompanied by Mrs. Melville, left for Smithfield, Texas, Sunday evening where burial rites took place Monday.
